The Open Engineering Symposium supports solving of mathematical, computational and engineering problems by anyone, for anyone.
Anyone can file a problem, and benefit from having a range of experts working on solving it at no cost.
Anyone can participate, learn from others and contribute with their knowledge and enthusiasm to solving real world engineering issues.
At the end of each symposium, a prototype solution will be published, together with tips for continued progress, future work and additional funding.
Computer Vision is the analysis of images or video sequences. Applications range from security and surveillance to autmated navigation, medical diagnostics on remote or measurement and sorting of industrial products.
Do you know someone who you think could benefit from video or image analysis? Submit a proposition by describing the problem (approximately 1 A4 page). If you can, attach some test images. Do you need help to capture test images, get in touch!
Are you a student, teacher, programmer or just interested in Computer Vision? Sign up for the symposium and get a chance to work on real live problems together with others!
